Professional dancers are artists. They are masters of their medium. Professional teachers are technicians. A technician needs
training and certification to do their job properly. Not all artists make good technicians. Unfortunately it is rare to find good
dancers who are also good teachers.
With Myles' extensive dance training and Tessa's extensive teaching training, we have this
unique combination. Please don't let what you see us produce on the floor scare you! ;) We are just artists trying to progress the
dance and perform at the cutting edge of our art form. But generally, dancing is a social activity. It is not expected that social
dancers will have to dance the way we do in order to improve or progress in their own dancing.
The earlier in your dance experience
you are exposed to our technical instruction, the better. In a private or group setting, what we offer students is a more effective
way to learn to move your body. Because of our years of experience and wide spectrum of ability, we are able to breakdown complicated
skills that would otherwise take years of training to master. We are able to give our students access to technique and strategies
not readily available from most instructors. We can help you create new possibilities in your dancing, at your own level, and in your
own style. Save yourself some time and money by learning in the most efficient way possible.

"When compared to other top-ranked professional dancers who teach, Myles & Tessa are head and shoulders above the crowd. Their
ability to break down complicated technique and make it accessible even to beginners is unparallelled. And their classes are always
refreshingly entertaining!" -Ken & Angela
